  • What you should know most importantly:
    Requirements/Rules: Lessor(s) participant is/are responsible for any and all damages, repairs. lost of service and labor costs. All lessor(s), participant and passengers must sign a rental agreement, release of liability, and waiver forms. Tonka Toy Watercraft Rentals reserve the right to deny service to persons not qualified or experienced enough for certain activities due to safety reasons. All lessor(s) must have valid photo ID and a major credit card. There is no coming in and out of ride zone to switch rider.   • How old do you have to be in Minnesota to drive a Jet Ski?
    Do you need a Boating License in Minnesota? Anyone under the age of 13 years may not legally operate a personal watercraft (PWC). Anyone 18 years of age or older may operate a motorized vessel or PWC without any restrictions.
  • Can reservations be cancelled due to inclement weather?
    We make the sole decision on the morning of the trip regarding lake and weather conditions. Do not expect cancellations due to potential conditions prior to the morning of the trip. If we cancel an outing due to inclement weather or poor lake conditions, we give our customers the option to reschedule their trip. If a trip cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be made.
  • How much is the required deposit?
    A non-refundable $100 deposit is required at the time of reservation.
  • Absolutely Zero tolerance for the following:
    Zero tolerance for drug or alcohol for all participants. This means anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or suspected or believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate and no refund for scheduled activity. Women who are pregnant may not participate. In addition, participants with heart, lung or back problems may not participate. Guests should consider their physical fitness level and medical history when determining whether this ride is appropriate. Participants with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, other heart or respiratory conditions and/or previous back or neck injury or any other medical condition should take particular caution when selecting this activity. Guests who have concerns should consult with their personal physician before engaging in any activity that may be strenuous for them. Safety weight: No individual cannot exceed 300 lbs. This applies to both a single rider or double rider, again no one can exceed the safety weight of 300 lbs a person. A double/tandem jet ski cannot exceed a combined weight of 350 lbs for both rider (two person on one Jet Ski). All riders must be able to re-board jet ski without assistance. There is no coming in and out from the ride zone. However, you may switch drivers on the same ski on the water, if you are eligible to drive.
